This is one of the tours in Rwanda that will take you to enjoy the home of 13 primates including famous chimpanzees. Have an interesting moment in the presence of chimpanzees and undertake a canopy walk to appreciate aerial views of the entire forest, as well as the beautiful environment while singing and jumping from one side to another.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Nyungwe National Park.
Our driver-guide will be ready to pick you up from Kigali International Airport on arrival or any other place in Kigali and immediately transfer to Nyungwe National Park. This park is famous due to its incredible population of chimpanzees, as well as other primates like vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, olive baboons and others. Arrive and check in at the booked safari lodge and this will mark the end of first day of your 3 Days Nyungwe chimpanzee trek.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk.
Head for 3 Days Nyungwe chimpanzee trek tour which will begin with breakfast and then a briefing session. The ranger guide will explain different dos and don'ts to follow while on this marvelous experience and among others include; don't feed animals, don't make noise, always keep a distance and many more others. You will then begin the experience with the help of a park ranger guide well-armed. Upon spotting a troop of chimps, you will spend an hour in their presence taking photos and recording videos for memories. While in the forest, you’ll view different primates like the L’Hoest’s monkeys, red colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys and much more.
After lunch, you will head for a canopy walk on a bridge suspended on top of trees at a height of 70m and 160m long. This experience takes about 2 hours as you explore the attractions in this forest while having an aerial view of the forest.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali and short city tour. Departure.
Head back to Kigali city after breakfast and this will be followed by a short city tour where you will visit the former presidential palace museum, the Kigali genocide memorial grounds and maybe the local markets or art gallery centers. Be dropped at the airport after lunch and this will mark the end of the tour.
