Uganda is a landlocked country located in the Eastern part of Africa bordered by Tanzania in the South, Kenya in the west, the Democratic Republic of Congo in the east and finally Sudan in the North. It covers an area of 93,065 square kilometers – 76,101 of those being land and 16,965 covered by water. Historically, Uganda was colonized by the British and got its independence in 1962.

Uganda has two seasons - rainy and sunny seasons. The dry season is best for visiting Uganda and it runs from December to February and mid-June to mid-August. The temperature tends to be somehow hot in the North and thus calling for you to come with light clothes and in the south a bit cold thus requiring you to come with heavy clothes. Not forgetting jungle shoes for proper trekking through the trails very well, cameras for photography and binoculars for seeing far attractions.
