Overview
This 3 days Murchison falls national park safari will take you to Murchison which is one of the Savannah parks well known for having one of the most powerful waterfalls in East Africa and Africa as a whole.
During this time, you will do activities like a game drive and boat cruise to spot the Savannah animals and some water birds since the park is known for homing over 541 bird species. After the safari, drive back to the airport and fly back home.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at the airport and transfer to Murchison falls national Park
Be picked up by your driver guide together with our company representative who will take you through a quick briefing that will summarize for you the rules and regulations to follow while on your safari and after drive heading to Murchison falls national Park having a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will meet a ranger guide who will brief about the rules and regulations again to follow when trekking these animals. Start looking for the endangered Rhinos with the activity normally takes 2-3hours and when you reach them an extra one hour will be given to you to spend with them. Proceed with the journey to Murchison falls national Park a journey taking 3 hours’ drive from Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Drive to the lodge for your dinner and night's stays
Day 2: Morning game drive and evening boat cruise
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge and then drive to the park for a game drive, done mostly along the Buligi peninsula where you will have a view of several Savannah animals such as the African elephants, giraffes, and buffalos. After driving back to your lodge and have your lunch as you are preparing for your next activity in the evening. On the evening of your second day of this safari, drive straight to Paraa area for an evening boat cruise, an activity taking 2-3 hours where you will spot large numbers of hippos and crocodiles plus other animals and many water birds which come to drink water at the river. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Return to Entebbe. Fly back home
This day will mark the end of your 3-days Murchison falls National Park safari. Begin it with a morning breakfast and a cup of tea and after you will drive heading to Kampala the capital city of Uganda from where you will drive to the airport in Entebbe and fly back to your home country.
